A Story Without A Tale
Book Cover
The assignment: choose a book you that you would love to design the cover of. A Story Without A Tale is an unknown literary feast written by a contemporary of Charles Dickens, Mr. William Maginn. Written in the late 19th century, this book deserved a cover that reflected its timless beauty. The cover painting is a Dutch still life from the National Gallery. Cover was designed with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and layout with InDesign.
Bashie Perfume Mini
Packaging
This packaging assignment involved industry specific research on a product of choice. Adobe Illustrator was used to design the artwork on the front panel and InDesign was used for designing the cigarette box template. Bashie is a vintage inspired perfume for those who want to step back in time to Paris in the 60’s. The mini bottle design appeals to those not willing to commit to a full size bottle, also making it appropriate for gift giving or travel.
Alba Tours of Italy
Packaging Design
Designed a brochure using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator to fit criteria for a small scale tour company. Client goals were to promote cultural history and traditions of Italy and they desired a brochure that had a timeless, heirloom type feel. Inside panels feature postcards, train tickets, and grainy photos that feel as if they are from a bygone era.
Athena Books
Business Branding
Designed a branding kit for Athena Books, including logo and business branding stationary. Athena Books is a curated bookshop featuring classical works and notable modern writers. Branding needed to feed sophisticated yet approachable. Adobe Illustrator and InDesign were used for the creation of this assignment.
NW Monthly
Infographic
Northwest Monthly required an infographic to convery regionally relevant information in an easy-to-grasp way. This infographic displays 10 facts about Washington State Agriculture from the WSDA.

Magazine Layout
Northwest Monthly is a ficticious magazine based off of the long standing, highly regarded Texas Monthly. Design work included using grids, paragraph styles and other layout techniques with Adobe InDesign to produce a magazine geared toward a general NW audience.
Kite Fest
Vector Illustration Poster
This project was inspired by vintage vector travel posters to pomote tourism. Adobe Illustrator was used to produce the vector illustrations.
NSAI
Summer Mailer Catalog
NSAI, a continuing education organization, needed a mailable booklet catalog of their summer art courses. The assignment required designer to use duotone colors with stock images in Adobe Photoshop and booklet layout in InDesign.

Digital Menu
Saint Honore Cakes, a natural cake company, needed a digital menu to reflect their fun vintage style. Adobe Photoshop was used for this design.
